PID Tuning Methods For FOPTD System

摘要

This paper presents PID controller design using different tuning methods and it is implemented to first order plus time delay system(FOPTD). The non linear process considered in this paper is continuous stirred tank reactor(CSTR). CSTR system is the reactor system with highly nonlinear dynamics. The aim of given paper is to regulate the temperature of CSTR by applying PID controller with the help of its tuning methods. For PID design & simulation MATLAB SIMULINK software is used.
