Clean and Hygienic Automated Butter Extractor for Households

Conventionally, Butter is prepared by hand in butter churns. It is a time consuming and wearisome process. The suggested practice focuses in automating the butter separation process, so that the separation can be done in less time and with increased efficiency, without the use of any chemicals or enzymes. The inputs given to the prototype is milk and the outputs are Skimmed milk, Buttermilk and Butter. The procedure is automated using the microcontroller Arduino Uno. Microcontroller is provided for controlling the timing for setting of the cream, valve operation, operating the agitator etc. A cleaning mechanism is also provided in the prototype to ensure hygiene and safety of users. Communication between the model and the consumer is also prearranged to ensure its user friendliness.
