摘要

This paper aims to upgrade the model of smart sensors potentially used in smart cities by adding the uncertainty to each sent data set. Measuring chain is based on measuring air temperature using NTC resistor. Explanation of used components and reasons why they are used is given. Focus is given on testing ADS1256 as peripheral part of Raspberry Pi developer board. Measured uncertainty is calculated from data obtained by ADS1256 locally and sent to cloud along with the corresponding calculated value of temperature.
