摘要

This paper presents a procedure to estimate of the minimum inertia required in the UCTE power system to operate according to the frequency control requirements established by ENTSO-E. This evaluation is performed using a simple model that was designed to analyze the frequency behaviour in interconnected power systems with high renewable energy penetration. The effect of a fast frequency response control scheme on the required minimum inertia is also assessed.
