Design of a Visual Analysis Platform for Sea Route Based on AIS Data

With the development of the times, the navigation technology becomes more and more mature, the shipping becomes more and more developed, and the hidden danger of safety in the navigation of the water area becomes more and more prominent. Automatic Identification System (AIS) is a kind of broadcasting automatic reporting system composed of shore-based station, ship-borne station, forwarding station, aids station and airborne station. Its use has brought the navigation community into a new digital age. With the increase of AIS data, the effective analysis method and technology of large-scale data becomes a challenge. Data visualization is not only a suitable technology but also the most intuitive display for people without professional data mining knowledge. This paper realizes the design and construction of the whole sea route visualization analysis platform based on AIS data.
