Surface Modification of Polypropylene Surgical Meshes for Improving Adhesion with Poloxamine Hydrogel Adhesive

摘要

The PGMA/HSA surface modification significantly improved the adhesive strength for meshes attached with poloxamine hydrogel tissue adhesive and achieved the adhesive strength similar to affixing tissue layers alone. Future studies will involve biaxial testing to better simulate the abdominal wall behavior.
