摘要

Collecting the operation state of machine tools in the process of production timely and accurately is a very meaningful work to improve the production efficiency and equipment utilization. However, this is also a tough job due to the complicated on site environment. A machine tool operation state online recognition method was proposed. Firstly, the relationship between the state and the power curve was built. And then, the power feature model was established to characterize the operation states of machine tool. Next, the KNN was used to classify the operation state based on the power value of real time acquisition, also the online recognition steps and processes are discussed in detail. Finally, a test was performed on a SmartCNC 500 machine tool, and the test results verified the feasibility of the method.
