Simulation Analysis of Data Dissemination Algorithms in a Blockchain Network

This paper presents a simulation analysis of data dissemination algorithms using existing Tendermint blockchain client-server system as an example. Algorithm analysis is connected with the Mempool component of the aforementioned system, which is responsible for disseminating data through the network. It is currently implemented in a way that it guarantees a certain outcome, yet it produces a large overhead. Simulation will show that one of the proposed solutions reduces the redundancy by 56.53% (or 3.62 times) on average, which is a significant improvement.
