This paper disscuses the implementation of NDN on V2V network. V2V is part of the Vehicular Ad-Hoc Network (VANET) technology that enables high speed data communications. Named Data Networking (NDN) is new protocol that is based on data centric and has been considered for V2V communication because NDN is more oriented to data content than creating sessions between two nodes. Outer relay node as a relay node to re-transmitt data packets from the producer to the consumer have some impacts in increasing the data packet re-transmitting process to the consumer relay nodes. The furtherst node as relay node has an impact on decreasing the interest satisfaction rate on the consumer side. With a distance of more than 100 meters, the interest satisfaction rate drops to below 50%.Based on this condition, it is necessary to evaluate the relay node location that acts as a next forwarder, as well as more precise transmission power to be used in data transmission process on Vehicle to Vehicle (V2V) communication in the NDN protocol. Therefore the data packet to be delivered can provide the success rate of delivery more than 90%. The comparison of various location points are used as relay nodes with varying transmission power. It can be concluded that by using a vehicle with a location of 70% of the maximum range of data transmitted as a relay node with 15 dBm transmission power will provide the best result, that is characterized by the Interest satisfaction rate of more than 99% for all conditions.
