Future communication systems are expected to highly engage in all aspects of the human life. These demanding novel solutions are featured with flexible and wide bandwidth microwave components. In this paper, we introduce a revolutionary solution in microwave guiding structure that can be used to implement reconfigurable microwave components based on printed ridge gap waveguide technology (PRGW). There has been a great interest in PRGW technology as a guiding structure for mm-wave applications as it provides low loss and low dispersion guiding mechanism. A brief study of the proposed technology is presented and illustrated.
