A well-qualified performance model for an aircraft configuration is essential for the development, delivery, and operation of an air vehicle. Having a single, authoritative representation of the performance available to all functional groups and stakeholders across the lifecycle is essential to assuring the performance of the system meets requirements and is properly sustained. This paper describes the methods and attributes required to develop and apply a single authoritative truth source as an integral element of a Digital Thread / Digital Twin approach to acquisition and sustainment of an air vehicle.
