Survey: Deep Learning Concepts and Techniques for Electronic Health Record

There is a huge amount of information that have been stored in electronic health records (EHR). EHR designed to store patient medical information and administrative tasks. While a lot of researchers employed these records in clinical informatics tasks. Recently, researcher's community discovered the advances of deep learning, that greatly applied to EHR. In this paper, we review deep learning concepts, technical aspects that applied on EHR. As well as, some of the recent deep learning projects in EHR with challenges.
