The paper concerns the selected issues related to research into applications of Magnus effect in sport. Main attention was paid to the accuracy of estimated position of marker stuck to the ball moving in the three-dimensional space. The authors proposed the method for identifying the marker centre of gravity coordinates on the basis of images burdened with different types of blurs. The problem of image reconstruction on the basis of registered noisy image was described by means of the Fredholm integral equation of the first kind. Blurs influencing the process of image registration were modelled by noise matrix computed as the Kronecker product of matrices modelling disturbances in the horizontal and vertical directions.
