In islanded microgrids, although the conventional angle droop control can solve the problem of frequency deviation, it cannot realize accurate active and reactive power sharing among multiple distributed generators. This paper presents a novel angle droop control method based on phasor measurement unit (PMU) measurement to cope with this problem. By measuring and using the angle information of the point of common coupling (PCC), the angle reference of each distributed generation (DG) can be adjusted with a supplementary controller to make all DG units accurately share the active power according to their droop gains. Furthermore, Prony analysis is applied to carefully select the control parameters and ensure the stability of system. Finally, simulation results in the PSCAD/EMTDC platform are provided to validate the feasibility and effectiveness of the proposed method.
