摘要

Natural disaster scenarios can be studied using high-spatial resolution remote sensing images to assess damage to bridges over water. In order to accurately assess the damage condition, an index system is constructed in this paper. First, the features of bridge are analyzed, and then based on the traffic capacity and the characteristics of high-spatial resolution remote sensing images, damage assessment indicators are established, and bridge damage grades are divided according to the recognition and damage detection results. This index system was validated with experiments in Whenchuan, China. The results showed that the index system has the capability of damage assessment of bridge within the high-spatial resolution remote sensing images, considering both qualitative and quantitative aspects.
