The SPEC CPU®2017 benchmark suites has been used to test and analyze the compilation performance including compilation speed and total compilation time, etc. of the common riscv64-unknown-linux-gnu for RISC-V compilation toolchain firstly in paper. The relationship between the benchmark KLOC value and the ratio is analyzed, and the correlation between the ratio and the compilation performance is verified with the ratio and test_time of the report generated by the test. According to the test results, the execution efficiency of the program and the compilation efficiency difference between before optimization and after optimization of the RISC-V compilation toolchain can be evaluated effectively based on the ratio. The SPEC CPU®2017 benchmark suites used for the compilation performance test of the RISC-V compilation toolchain provides effective feedback on the research and design of the toolchain. It is of great significance in the construction of RISC-V ecology.
