Software test automation and a sample practice for an enterprise business software

Software testing includes sum of all actions that can be defined actively in a process starting from the acquisition of business requirements to the deployment of the software product to the customer, that increases the product reliability and that allows software product to be presented to the market at a certain level. However, it is difficult to perform software testing manually and human-based specifically for business applications. This difficulty is due to the fact that human-generated tests of thousands of different scenarios are vulnerable to inaccurate results, and also manual tests being slow and difficult to repeat. Test automation aims to have all of these actions that enhance the quality of the product done constantly to a software product which is specialized and all of the actions aimed to make the product as error-free as possible at the time that it goes out on the market. These actions include development of test scenarios, creation of inputs and outputs, development of the infrastructure that tool uses and scenarios are developed, evaluations after the scenarios are run, database / cloud integration, logging etc. Thanks to test automation, total product quality and efficiency can be greatly increased in the major software development processes managed with versioning systems, with versions delivered much faster, less staff assigned for manual testing and fewer software errors emerge. In this article, the improvement process of the test processes of the Panorama named software produced by Univera Computer Systems is explained by the automation and the progress of the test automation project.
