The homomorphic cryptosystems have several applications such as online voting system, threshold, adhoc networks and mix nets. The cryptosystems are called homomorphic cryptosystems if they encompass the homomorphic properties. In this kind of cryptosystem, performing any algebraic operation (addition or multiplication) on two ciphertexts returns an encryption of the result of that operation on the two corresponding plaintexts. Thus the computations are performed on encrypted data without revealing the original messages. In this analysis, we review the homomorphic properties of the public key cryptosystems and their applications in various protocols. We also analyze the model of Attribute involved Probabilistic Public Key cryptosystem (APPKC), based on Sylow P-subgroups. This public key cryptosystem has a property called randomization that is producing variant ciphertexts for given plaintext with different random values. This cryptosystem also serves the homomorphic properties. Here we discuss the partial homomorphic features of the scheme.
