In this research, a segue square-slot Substrate Integrated Waveguide (SIW) antenna has been realized with different dimensions of slot width. The ultimate goal of this work is to design a suitable SIW antenna for Ku band and K band applications. A copper vias has been used between the ground and patch surface to improve the number of resonating frequency bands of the investigated antenna. The FR4 (Flame Retardant) substrate material is used with dielectric constant 4.4, loss tangent 0.02 and the thickness of the dielectric medium is 1.6 mm. This design has been simulated on HFSS software. The working effectiveness of the antenna is analyzed with the help of the properties of return loss, VSWR, bandwidth and its radiation patterns. The proposed parametric analysis offers resonance frequencies at 16.10GHz, 16.20GHz, 17.30GHz, and 17.90GHz, 18.00GHz, 18.10GHz, 19.40GHz, 19.60GHz, 19.80 GHz, 21.60GHz, 21.8GHz, 21.90GHz, 23.80GHz, 24.00GHz, 24.10GHz, 25.70GHz, and 26.10GHz.
