摘要

In this paper, hydration status of a human body has been measured by non-invasive way using the ratio of Extra-Cellular Fluid (ECF) to Total Body Water (TBW). New mathematical models of extracellular fluid and total body water have been developed based on bioelectrical impedance analysis. Total 3000 (number of male data is 1500 and number of female data is 1500) data have been adopted for the research purpose. Proposed models have been compared with existing models by different types of statistical tools like correlation coefficient, limit of agreement, bias and root mean square error. The measured hydration status of the people using the ratio of ECF to TBW has been compared with the actual hydration status and the overall accuracies are found as 96.67% for male and 97.69% for female. This proposed method of hydration status prediction will be helpful for the quick detection of different types of disease related to body fluid.
