The radiation monitoring system equipment of a nuclear power plant in Guangdong has repeatedly experienced communication failures and the standard RS485 interface communication is used inside. The RS485 communication mode is simple in hardware, convenient in control, low in cost, and high in communication rate. But the RS485 bus also has problems such as antijamming, self-adaptation, insufficient communication efficiency, etc. So incorrect handling of any details can lead to communication failure. Based on the practical application of the radiation monitoring system in the power plant, this paper analyzes the causes of the failure, investigates the factors that affect the communication failure, and implements anti-interference measures according to specific conditions, which solves the communication problems in the radiation monitoring system of the power plant. The improved method provided by this work can not only solve the communication problem of the system, but also solve the problem of nuclear power and the electrical industry to carry out anti-interference design and increase anti-interference measures to avoid repeated occurrence of the same problem.
