摘要

It has been observed that since last few decades, solar lantern (solar lamp) has been replaced to other lighting sources like candles or kerosene lamps in most part of the world with a great potential. This paper describes the design and implementation of a compact, low-powered, remote monitoring and control system using LoRaWAN? technology to track and monitor the health and energy profile of the solar lantern used in any corner of the world. Low power voltage and current sensors are used to sense the battery voltage and load current simultaneously when the solar lantern is in operation condition. An Arduino pro-mini microcontroller is used for necessary program execution with data storage facilities in SD memory card. A LoRaWAN? transceiver module is integrated with data accusation circuit to communicate between solar lantern and cloud server though a LoRaWAN? gate way.
