摘要

This paper researches distributed partial discharge detection technique synchronized with AC withstand voltage test of high voltage cable. Distributed partial discharge detection uses selective frequency current method and optical fiber and 3G technology to realize synchronous on-line monitoring of PD signal. There are suspected partial discharge defects in a XLPE power cable in Liaoning Province. Combining signal amplitude, frequency spectrum and time domain diagram, the defect is considered to be inside of GIS terminal. It is found that there are insulation defects on the surface of epoxy material after disassembling inspection, which is consistent with analysis results. It is considered that, the cable PD measurement synchronized with voltage withstand test has guiding significance for effectively evaluating cable construction and insulation.
