Photovoltaic DC power supply has the advantage of application in a thermal load. The impedance selecting method of photovoltaic DC power supply is of great significance to improve the utilization rate of photovoltaic. An impedance selection method for the thermal load of photovoltaic DC power supply is proposed and applied to variable thermal load. Based on the analysis of the matching characteristics of photovoltaic internal resistance and impedance, the corresponding relationship between the internal resistance and load resistance of photovoltaic power supply is simulated and analyzed, also a variable heating load system is designed. The experimental results show that the utilization ratio of the system can be effectively improved. Using photovoltaic DC power supply to supply impedance load, it can save the investment of power conversion and other intermediate links, it can automatically track the maximum power output of photovoltaic on the DC level. This structure is simple and easy to generate, the system has a practical application value in the combined heat and power system.
