Analysis of infinite array of finite feed gap dipole antenna placed over a reflector

In this paper, a solution of Maxwell's equation in terms of Floquet modal function is presented for a dipole antenna placed over a metallic reflector having finite feed gap. To reduce the analytical complexity, orthogonal Floquet modal functions are used and normalized with respect to the modal power. The current distribution function suggested to address the finite feed gap.
