摘要

In this paper, it is shown that a stepped-impedance open-stub can be used to design a reflection type dispersive delay line with peak delays more than tens of nano seconds. A loss less transmission line model is used for analysis. Finally, a delay line is fabricated that provides a measured delay of 22.23 ns at 2.5 GHz. Total rectangular area of the unit is 60 mm × 40 mm on a 0.5 mm thick substrate with dielectric constant 3.55.
