In order to Research the Output Characteristics of series photovoltaic(PV) array With Partial Shadow, in this paper, a series PV array models have been established based on the mathematical model of PV cell, The series PV array With different Shadow mode were analyzed. The experimental results show that when the array is under uneven irradiance, and the shading of a single cell is increased to a certain extent, the maximum power point P_(max) will shift, by using bypass diodes, the hot spot phenomenon can be well suppressed, the protective effects is different depending on the diode distribution. If there is shading, the efficiency is better when the uniformity of the shading is higher. The results provide useful theoretical support for the design and improvement of PV system.
