Software for processing stl-files and defining different volumes in the files was successfully developed. These volumes can be linked with different machine data sets and thus address different printer heads. Thus, implants with material and porosity grading can be realized. For other processes or materials, other machine data sets can be easily defined. Additionally, the approach can be transferred to other applications where complex multi-structural parts are required.
