This paper presents the implementation and design of a three-device rectifier array based on the concept of adaptive power distribution methodology to design a very wide dynamic range rectifier. The circuit is based on microstrip design, however lumped components can also be used for design such a circuit. The fabricated circuit achieves RF to dc conversion power efficiencies higher than 50% over 26 dB dynamic range and with a peak efficiency of 57% at 810 MHz.
