This study demonstrates the use of two types of pendulums on a vortex bladeless wind (VBW) turbine: arc-shaped and disc-shaped. Here, the kinetic energy of the wind as input to the VBW turbine gets converted into useful electrical energy for both types of pendulums. Permanent magnets are attached to the pendulums and act as a piston to the generator, while a coil is made as the stator with 2,200 turns each on the sides of the pendulum. Electricity is then produced as the pendulum moves from side to side because of the magnetic flux formed between the coils and the permanent magnets. The result shows a significant increase of voltage on the arc-shaped pendulum. Actual simulations of the prototype for controlled and uncontrolled wind speed reveal that an arc-shaped pendulum on a VBW turbine has a higher average voltage collected between the early morning and the late evening of a given day. For the concept's economic practicality, the prototype was constructed on a smaller scale; however, a larger scale setup of the prototype would harness more electrical energy.
