摘要

The corrosion properties and wear behavior of copper-tungsten disulfide (Cu/WS_2) composites fabricated by spark plasma sintering (SPS) was investigated. Electrochemical and friction measurements during reciprocating sliding tests are used to monitor and to evaluate the tribocorrosion behavior of the composites. In the present article, by the comparison study of mass loss and surface topography after corrosion in artificial sea water of the three kinds of material, copper, albronze and Cu/WS_2 composite. Results indicated that the addition of lubricant WS_2 substantially reduced wear rate of the Cu matrix composites fabricated by SPS. It was also found that the corrosion rate increases with increase in time of exposure. The corrosion resistance of Cu/WS_2 composite is better than other materials, which can meet the demand of the work condition.
