A dynamic optimization problem for resource allocation in device-to-device communication underlaying cloud radio access networks (C-RANs) is researched in this paper. To optimize network throughput as well as maintain delay-aware network, a resource allocation problem with power consumption, fronthaul capacity, and network stability constraints is formulated for the downlink of C-RAN, where the delay-aware network is confirmed by the stability. Then Lyapunov optimization approach is used to transform the problem to an equivalent optimal beamformer design problem, which can be addressed by a weighted minimum mean square error approach based algorithm. Simulation results show that the proposed algorithm achieves a tradeoff between throughput and stability.
