摘要

The unambiguous determination of the wave impedance is offered and approved in this paper. It is shown that in the case of slow-wave structures, the wave impedance ambiguity is caused by the longitudinal capacitive currents. They decrease the effective value of the voltage applied to the conduction current in the impedance electrode. This is followed by the decrease in the real power flow and leads to the ambiguous determination of the wave impedance by the conventional formulas of the circuit theory.
