Industry 4.0: Advances of Germany's manufacturing innovation? (Extended abstract: Presentation-only)

摘要

Industry 4.0 is Germany's national strategic project to promote innovation in its manufacturing industry and enhance its competitiveness. In recent years, innovative projects in this area have reached remarkable results and drawn attention from the whole world. This contribution reviewed recent advances of German Industry 4.0, pointed out its major goals and project scope, with regards to project modules from German federal ministries (BMBF and BMWi) with best practices. The contribution also pointed out recent trends of Industry 4.0 development and their implications.
