摘要

Electromagnetic wave (EM wave) is necessary for human daily life because EM wave can be applied for various applications such as radio, TV, tablet, wireless, LAN, bluetooth and microwave devices. Electromagnetic wave may interfering signal with the operation systems in medical equipment and communication systems in aircraft. Titanium dioxide (TiO2) is an electromagnetic wave absorber. In this study, micro size natural Thai hydro ilmenite minerals (TiO2 ~> 60 %) were mixed with recycled high density polyethylene (HDPE) for electromagnetic wave absorber. The results showed that prepared samples could absorbed electromagnetic wave in grammar ray (γ-ray) and X-ray region.
