Online energy management of PV-assisted charging station based on Lyapunov optimization

摘要

PV-assisted charging station is a typical integration approach for EVs to consume the renewable energy resources locally. In this paper, an online energy management algorithm based on Lyapunov optimization was proposed, which can be used to schedule the controllable EV load in the PV-assisted charging station. Without forecasting the related variables, the real-time decisions can be made based only on the current ones. The algorithm could schedule energy quickly under the fluctuation of DG, electricity demand of EVs and market price. In the paper, the simulation led to a comprehensive result which proved the proposed algorithm can promote the consumption of the PV generation and decrease the station's operating costs. Otherwise, the required computational complexity is simple so that the algorithm can be useful in the PV-assisted charging station.
