Real time scheduling for wireless mesh networked control systems

摘要

Industrial wireless mesh networks technologies as WirelessHART, ISA100.11a, WIA-PA, e.g., have become a communication infrastructure for process control in harsh and noisy environment. These control systems are wireless mesh networked control systems (WMNCSs). Compared with wireless sensor networks, the Wireless network control systems have more stringent requirements on reliability and real-time communication. Although WirelessHART has introduced many technologies to ensure the stringent reliable and timing properties, it does not provide much guidance on how to meet the design goals for close loop controller. In this work, we provide algorithms for constructing real-time scheduling for close-loop controller over WirelssHART networks. The experiments on test bed show that our scheme can provide highly reliable and real time communication for close loop control.
