摘要

A novel printed ultra wideband (UWB) slot antenna with dual band-notch characteristics is presented in this paper. The presented antenna consists of a V-shaped radiating patch with a microstrip feeding line and an arched curved ground plane with rectangular slot to improve the impedance bandwidth. The band-notch is achieved by introducing two meander-line slots on heart-shaped radiation element. Dual notches are achieved at bands of 3.32-3.85 GHz WiMAX and 5.08-6.1 GHz WLAN. Measured results are in good agreement with simulations, which shows that the antenna has a wide impedance bandwidth of 9.85 GHz starting 2.15 to 12 GHz for a return loss of better than -10 dB and good frequency band-notch function. Furthermore, the proposed antenna has relatively omnidirectional radiation patterns in passbands. This antenna can be used for ultra wideband (UWB) applications.
