摘要

The problem of modeling arc extinction process when the high-current DC circuit is disconnected by switching devices with liquid-metal contact is considered. The resulting mathematical model allows calculating arc-over basic dynamic performances: current, voltage, conductivity, temperature, conductor column radius. The ability to calculating such arc extinction integral characteristics as current, resistance and intensity of arc column in presence of indeterminate real dynamic arc temperature profile by equivalent temperature profile is shown. On basis of resulting mathematical model the calculation methodology for process of circuitry cutout by switching devices with liquid-metal contact is developed.
