摘要

A novel magneto-electric dipole antenna with wide H-Plane, triple-linear polarization and frequency-reconfiguration is proposed for 5G application. In this paper, the radiated dipoles are designed with the arc-shaped planes to exhibit wide H-plane performance. A bent cross-dipole with PIN diodes and varactor diodes inserted into its four arms is utilized to excite and control the antenna. Consequently, a wide H-plane ranging from -80 to 80 degrees can be achieved for 5G application. In addition, by controlling the PIN diodes and varactor diodes, the three kinds of linear polarizations and frequency reconfiguration functionalities for 3G/4G/5G applications can also be obtained.
