摘要

A novel single probe-fed dual-band dual-circularly polarized antenna is proposed in this paper based on stacked three-layer configuration. By introducing the presented coupling feed mechanism, the center frequency and polarization for the dual bands can be easily adjusted, making the design process efficient. To demonstrate the working principle, a dual-band dual-circularly polarized antenna operated for China's Compass Navigation Satellite System (CNSS) is designed and simulated. The simulation result shows that the designed antenna features improved low elevation angle gain, good axial ratio and low cross polarization level for both the lower and upper band, which makes it preferable for satellite applications.
