This study focuses on the model of hybrid control architecture to manage the process of surgical operating room. From the point of view of control, two main problems are considered: 1/ An establishment of a methodology applicable to the organization of process activities, aims to set up a management system that acts on the scenario and then on the qualification of the activity. More precisely, this part concerns a construction of the architecture of hybrid control. This control is hybrid in the sense that, the architecture is composed of two levels (global with “hierarchical control” and local with “a cooperative steering”). The objective is two fold: to optimize the overall performance of the “operational” process and to increase its responsiveness to disturbances. The management system will include policies that optimize overall performance and local responsiveness. We show in this document through the description of the functions of the modules that constitute the model, that the proposed control is consistent with the type of control that is still missing today and which is required by the health services, namely the one that is effective, and can cope with the uncertainties and disruptions inherent in the surgical block process. 2/ A methodology that aims the automatic generation of “indicators” of the performance evaluation system. This approach allows the successful completion of the objective action-measurement triplet, which is a fundamental element of performance optimization. Research focus: distributed task allocation with multi-agent systems.
