摘要

The project proposes the microcontroller based communication system for Energy handling and Energy Management at the consumer end. The main objective of the project is focused on the application of PLCC (Power Line Carrier Communication). The project uses the existing network of power line to carry the control data with the aid of DTMF (Dual Tone Multi-Frequency) in order to control the load and also to intimate the same to the consumer. If the consumer does not pay the bill then a grace period of 24 hours will be given. If the consumer fails to pay even after the grace time, power will be disconnected automatically by the EB department through PLCC. The model operates at a range of 150 KHz carrier frequency injected and extracted in 230V low-tension power line of the same phase to activate the remote device at the consumer end to put ON/OFF the incoming power supply (3 PHASE/1 PHASE).
