Research on Design and Construction of Directional Drilling of Shen-Wei Coal Pipeline

摘要

Shen-Wei coal pipeline is the first constructed coal pipeline in China. Since Shen-Wei coal pipeline goes through loess plateau area where exists broken grounds, gullies spreading all over the area, and secondary disasters and so on, it is difficult to construct the pipeline. With the aid of the directional drilling technique existed in oil and gas pipeline, this problem is successfully solved in practical engineering. The key point involved in this problem is to cut through two scarps located in Niujiadian, where the design and construction of directional drilling of design and construction of Shen-Wei coal pipeline is studied at detail. The research shows that the construction technology proposed is very suitable for the terrain condition with long crossing distance and large altitude difference, and this technology is of high efficiency and little interference on the environment. It is also significant that the directional drilling technology applied in the pipeline can be used in other similar engineering in the future.
