Go-Motion: An Android Application Detecting Motion Gestures for Generating Basic Mobile Phone Commands Utilizing Kanade-Lucas-Tomasi (KLT) Algorithm is an application designed to facilitate a natural way of communication with machines, specifically, Android mobile phones, by using hand gestures. The research aims to provide an alternative way of using command on phone by implementing image processing techiques. The researchers used hand gestures to possibly communicate with the mobile device. The application stores a hand gesture and re-label the hand gesture as a phone command. The application uses the feature point extraction methods of KLT algorithm to detect the static gestures of the hand to call applications installed on the phone. ISO-9126 software evaluation criteria was used to the application and resulted as very satisfactory. The research recommends to enhance the accurateness of this process, whereas when a saved hand gesture opens a new application.
