This paper described the development of an NFC tag-sensing platform integrated a neonatal incubator to measure the temperature of premature newborns (NB) by its mattress or pillow. The tag created uses the ISO/IEC 14443-B protocol to establish the communication, sending the current value of body temperature through its Pseudo-Unique Proximity Integrated Circuit Card Identifier (PUPI). As result, this project presents an alternative sensing with improved comfort for NB in their early life.
