This paper describes a methodology for jamming traditional combat net radios using commercial software-defined radios mounted on unmanned aerial vehicles. The paper demonstrates the technical feasibility of this method given size, weight, and power constraints. We propose tactics, techniques, and procedures for employing this system as a means of electronic fires organic to an infantry battalion. We demonstrate a tactical scenario to show the potential utility of this system. Finally, acquisition cost considerations are covered.
