Japanese Lunar Polar Exploration Mission

摘要

JAXA is planning a lunar polar exploration mission. Utilization of volatile such as water ice is very important for future moon or mars exploration missions. However, landing to and exploring into the polar region needs some new advanced technologies. JAXA is researching and developing those technologies. In this paper, current study status of the Japanese polar exploration mission and relating technology development are shown.
