Tuning a synchrotron radiation source for nano-FTIR spectroscopy

We report on the tuning of the mid-infrared synchrotron radiation toward optimal conditions in nano-FTIR spectroscopy. The electron bunch shape and spectral bandwidth of the emitted radiation are adapted for both strong and temporally stable near-field signal amplitudes.
