This paper shows the design and implementation of five-dimensional hyper chaotic secure communication system based on drive-response synchronization technique, the proposed secure communication system has two different channels, one channel used to transmit a masked and encrypted signal, while the other channel is used to send another hyper-chaotic signal directly to the receiver to obtain synchronization. The information signal is encrypted by using any variable from hyper chaotic oscillator before masking by using another hyper chaotic signal to increase security, the information signal is then recovered at the synchronized receiver, computer simulation and hardware implementation is realized by using field programmable gate array and ARM processor on the same platform.
